About Ultravid.
Ultravid began video chat software development in mid 1993 and released it's first software product, The Ultravid I in 1994. The Ultravid I was a huge success, creating a few new millionairs in the video chat industry, and more importantly, it enabeled new business models in the industry.
1993 Development begins on Ultravid I
1994 Ultravid I released
1998 web based Livecam system released
1999 Ultravid II which added internet to the Ultravid I released
2000 Firecracker Associates established providing talent and website management services as well as Custodian of Records services as required by the US Department of Justice to our business customers.
2000 Firecracker Video product released.
2005 Ultravid.net released
2012 Wowza video software in beta after nearly two years of development.
Over the years Ultravid has anticipated and responded to the changes and needs of the growing pay per view video chat industry. In 2000 alliance with business partner GroupV was formed to develop future products under both the new Firecracker Associates name and the established Ultravid name. Add to this the fact that the company has been active not only in the software development arena, but in many other areas of the industry also. This has given Ultravid a unique advantage at developing extremely usefull tools and features due to years of practical "on the ground" experience.
